Is Penélope Cruz really pregnant? The answer is YES! PENELOPE CRUZ IS PREGNANT.
The Oscar winning actress is expecting her first child, it has emerged. A rep for the Vicky Cristina Barcelona star confirmed to ET Tuesday that Cruz is in fact 4-and-a-half months pregnant.
Photos of Penélope on the set of her upcoming movie, Pirates of the Caribbean 4: On Stranger Tides, had sparked rumors that the recently married actress, 36, was pregnant.
Cruz married fellow Spanish native Javier Bardem in July after dating since at least 2007. They first met while filming the Spanish movie Jamon, Jamon in 1992.
A close look at the latest picture in the People magazine shows a bare-footed Cruz in shorts, wearing a loose white shirt and walking with Johnny Depp who is dressed as Captain Jack Sparrow.

The locale is somewhere in Puerto Rico where Cruz is shooting the pirate film.
The said photo had added to pregnancy speculation based on pictures of the actress wearing a figure-hiding trench coat in L.A. recently.
Cruz in the pirate movie plays Sparrow’s love interest and the daughter of the pirate Blackbeard, who is portrayed by Ian McShane of Deadwood fame.
