Five students held after girl alleges rape

GEORGE TOWN, Malaysia - A teenager turned several of her male friends in to the police after she claimed that they used a recorded sexual tryst to blackmail her into giving them more sex.

Sources said the 14-year-old girl claimed that she had sex with one of the boys on March 9.





Later, she followed the boys to a secluded waterfall site behind the Tabung Haji complex in Bayan Lepas, where she had sex again with the same boy.







Following that, on more than one occasion, the victim claimed that the boys demanded sex from her by threatening to publicly show a recorded clip of what happened on March 9, said the sources.





The victim lodged a police report on March 28 at the Bayan Lepas police station, and the four boys from the same school were subsequently picked up.

The boy who recorded the "act" on his mobile phone was picked up on Monday.





The girl was sent to the Penang Hospital for a check up.

It is learnt that the five boys have since been released on police bail.





Balik Pulau Deputy OCPD Deputy Supt Lai Fah Hin confirmed the case but declined to elaborate, saying the case involved juveniles.
